# of Weeks After Contracted Graduation Date
As per the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling mandate, student teachers must complete 500 hours of instruction in order to apply for their licensing exam. Therefore the “on time” definition of graduation rates reflects students that have never missed one day/week of school during their 5 month/20 week program. Artistic Academy affords students with the opportunity to accrue 50 hours for illness or personal reasons. In providing the consumer with as much information as possible we have provided you with our on-time graduation rates in addition to graduation rates through 10 weeks past their original graduation date. The additional weeks provided also include students with approved leave of absences during their education.
