Federal Grants Program
A Federal Pell Grant is federal gift assistance that does not need to be repaid. Eligibility is based on the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as determined by the FAFSA. The maximum Federal Pell Grant award for the 2019-2020 award year is $6,195.00 for the 1200 clock hour program and $4,163.00 for the 600 clock hour program.
Supplemental Educations Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
An SEOG is for undergraduates with exceptional financial need — that is, students with the lowest EFCs — and gives priority to students who receive Federal Pell Grants. An SEOG doesn’t have to be paid back. SEOG awards usually range from $100.00 to $600.00 per academic year.
