refund policy

An application not accepted by the school (prior to entering school) shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid.

If a student (or in the case of a student under legal age, his/her, parent/guardian cancels his/her enrollment and requests all monies in writing within 3 business days of signing the enrollment agreement/contract, all monies collected by the school shall be refunded. The cancellation date will be determined by the postmark on written notification, or the date said information is delivered to the school administrator/owner in person. This policy applies regardless of whether or not the student has actually started training.

If a student cancels his/her (cosmetology, aesthetics, student teaching) enrollment after three business days after signing but prior to entering classes, he/she shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid to the school less the registration fee of $100.00 which is non-refundable.

For students that enroll and begin classes, the following schedule of tuition adjustment is authorized:

All first time students receiving Title IV funds will receive a Return of Title IV Aid refund calculation as per Federal Regulations provided they have completed less than 60% of their total hours of instruction.

Enrollment time is defined as the time elapsed between the actual starting date on which the student formally terminates enrollment. Termination shall occur upon the student's last day of physical attendance in school.

If a student withdraws or terminates prior to completing the course, the student will be charged an additional fee of $150.00 for administrative costs.

Any refund due to the student will be paid within 30 days of written cancellation or termination.

If the school is permanently closed or no longer offering instruction, the student shall be entitled to a pro-rata refund of tuition.

If a student withdraws or is discontinued before completion of the course, the charge will be the cost of the student kit, equipment, tools, text books, instructional materials, taxes, in addition to tuition retained by the school.

The transcript or certificate of completion is to be held until all fees and charges have been met.

If a course is cancelled, subsequent to a student's enrollment: The school shall at its option:

  1. Provide a full refund of all monies paid, or
  2. Provide completion of the course

Any student absent for seven consecutive school days with no communication with the Academy will be terminated. The date of termination will be the students seventh day of absenteeism. Furthermore, an enrollment agreement will be terminated within 30 days of the last day of physical attendance regardless of prior communication.

Any student who does not return from his or her Leave of Absence will be terminated using the last date of leave as the termination date. Any student on an approved Leave of Absence who notifies the school that they will not be returning the withdrawal date will be the date the student notifies the institution.
